Consultant Cardiologist
Dr Khamis is a consultant cardiologist and the Clinical Director of Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He holds a joint academic appointment as a Reader (Associate Professor) at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He is also the clinical lead for the high risk atherosclerosis and cardio immune clinic at Imperial, treating complex cases. Dr. Khamis has a deep interest and is a leader in the research field of cardiovascular medicine. He and his team work on the innovative development of interventional cardiology technologies as well as new blood tests for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease which is the leading single cause of the death globally.
Prof. Karol Sikora
Professor of Oncology
Professor Karol Sikora has been described as a world-leading authority on oncology. Following training, completed with distinction at Middlesex hospital, Karol had junior doctor posts in London and Cambridge, and went on to spend two years as a Clinical Fellow at Stanford. In 1986, he was appointed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Cancer Medicine at Hammersmith Hospital. He was seconded to be Director of the World Health Organisation, Cancer Programme in Geneva and Lyon from 1999-2000. Karol has provided advice and services to hundreds of cancer centres around the world, helping also to develop proton beam capable facilities in a number of countries.

Dr. Adejuwon, has more than a decade of experience as a consultant in Musculoskeletal, Sports, and Exercise Medicine. He maintains an honorary consultant post at University College Hospital London NHS Trust and has practices in London and Hertfordshire. His practice focuses on evidence-based non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, providing a tailored approach to patients ranging from elite athletes to the general public.
Dr. Eleni Mavrides
Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Ms Mavrides is the senior surgeon leading the endometriosis centre at Barnet and Royal free hospitals with a special interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. She completed a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (keyhole surgery) at St Mary’s, Watford General and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals with extensive surgical experience in oncology, infertility, menstrual disorders and fibroids. In terms of education, Ms Mavrides is an examiner of the University of London for the MBBS degree. She holds a Doctorate of Medicine of the University of London and is actively involved in the training of obstetricians and gynaecologists at all levels. Ms Eleni Mavrides now has over 14 years of consultant experience at the Royal Free Hospital, specialising in advanced minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

Hugh obtained a first class BSc in Cardiorespiratory Physiology and Neuropharmacology in 1984, before graduating from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1987. He obtained his higher research degree from University of London in 1987. He is accredited in General Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine. He has published over 600 scientific papers, seven in 'Nature'.
